Dear Family and Friends,

 

Many of you have heard me speak recently about the "Yes on Proposition 8" campaign that I have been heavily involved in since August or so and yet some of you have not.  Because I have three dear children in school that will ultimately be affected by the outcome of this election, I feel compelled to write to EVERYONE I know to tell them about this important cause.  I am not writing to offend anyone or push my beliefs on anyone.  I am writing because Jerry and I have our own beliefs with how we want our children raised and how we believe that God would want them raised and we are unwilling to sit back and allow our freedom of religion and our parental rights to be taken from us.  I urge you to please watch the video links I have attached.  Then please go to www.protectmarriage.com . While you are there, read the info, donate as much as you feel you can, and please pass the website info and the videos on to ANYONE you know ANYWHERE in the world.  We can make a difference in the lives of children around the world!  Please remember that voting YES on Proposition 8 does NOT take away ANY rights of homosexual couples but voting NO will take away the rights of parents and children!

Here is a revision of the video above that shows the husband and wife talking about their experience when they objected to same sex marriage material being given to their elementary school child.  The father was finally put in handcuffs and taken to jail.  I can only image the courage that must have taken to defend their parental rights!  We must be courageous and take action to make sure everyone around the world knows about Proposition 8 in California and in Arizona it is Proposition 102.
